The right provider is out there.
You and your child have been to other therapists and other types of therapy with varied results.
It is exhausting to keep going in the search to find the right fit for everyone.
But you believe it’s possible, so you’ve continued to look.
What will work for all of you?
While many adults are comfortable with talking, asking questions, having a verbal exchange, telling the story, and witnessing the pain, my style is different.
You and your child will get to tell your story in the most comfortable expression, where you feel held, heard, understood, and supported.
This is a space where you will build “containers” of your own to have the resilience needed to face life with strength, vitality, compassion, and success.
Guess what the hardest part of therapy is for my clients?
When it’s time for the session to end! Our time together becomes so natural and safe that kids and their parents don’t want to wrap up and head out.
The younger ones need to be convinced that there will be more and that they will be back “next time.” Only then does the excitement return in anticipation of the next opportunity to attend.
For adults, the look of, “Do I have to go out and face the world now?” is as familiar as it is unspoken. And I get it. I really do.
About Empowerment In-Sight
A therapy session at Empowerment In-Sight will provide you with an experience that includes a multi-sensory journey.
Your very first greeting will be the inviting aromas of natural essential oils, which offer a calming and pleasant atmosphere, along with beautiful decor, sun-filled rooms, and a warm welcome.
You will find an item to symbolize every situation and a sensory experience for every feeling. This sacred space of unburdening, release, relief, and letting go provides the perfect nest for you to discharge the deepest and most powerful moments.
Upon exiting, clients often say, “I feel lighter,” “ I have more clarity,” “ You are someone who really understands,” or “ When I am with you, I feel like I can say anything without being judged.”
About Chana Kaiman, LCSW-RPT, IFS Therapist
Providing support for others comes naturally to me.
I was born into community service and am naturally drawn to meaningful encounters.
Beginning as an education major, I quickly discovered my passion for psychology, particularly human behavior in family dynamics. From many students to one at a time, I realized the impact I could make if I spent more quality time with each individual, providing enduring skills that last a lifetime.
After serving as a clinic manager, assistant director of outreach, and school counselor, I currently direct Empowerment In-Sight.
Our mission is to provide children and families with the tools for mastery, independence, advocacy, equity, and equality so that they can function as emotionally healthy individuals and live in harmony with each other.
My approaches to therapy…
Many people are super focused on the orientation of therapy and make choices based on that. If I were to tell you that your therapy session is pre-scripted with goals, home assignments, and plan reviews, you would keep on scrolling.
That’s because no two people are alike, and each person has their own therapy needs. In my 15 years as a provider, I have personally trained with some of the most noted psychotherapists in the field, and I covered a broad range of techniques, including psychodynamic, person-centered, CBT, IFS, ACT, Filial, Child-Centered Play, and more.
When you step into my office, my concern is only you. Your uniqueness matters most. My approach is tailored to your needs, your life story, your personality, and, ultimately, what is most compatible with your very own healing journey.
A large part of my day is dedicated to working with children.
They hold a special place in my heart.
Their innocence, vulnerability, curiosity about life, and fun-filled exuberance are what motivate me to get to work each day with a new and creative exercise each and every time.
When not in the office…
I am either in the kitchen experimenting with recipes from all over the globe that require ingredients that I cannot pronounce, inventing games for my children since they have “played them all,” reading (which is a favorite hobby), or playing with my brand-new nephew.
